Adopt-A-Bubby

What a magnificent inter-generational program. High school students are matched up with senior citizens and they develop a long-term grandmother-granddaughter relationship. This is especially beneficial for seniors that don’t have grandchildren or that live far from them. This program provides high school students a role model teaching them good character traits such as honesty, morality and kindness, while at the same time the adopted grandparents enjoy (and maybe it will rub off on them!) the youthful spirit and joy of their new family member.
